Overview
The symposium on lifestyle medicine will bring together experts to focus on current and progressive advances in lifestyle medicine education, medical practice, and research. The symposium will provide insights on how the overwhelming burden of chronic disease can be prevented, managed, and reversed by using evidence based intensive lifestyle-related therapeutic interventions. It provides an opportunity on how lifestyle medicine is redefining healthcare to promote wellbeing and empower patients and communities to engage in self-care. Overall, the symposium will foster an exchange of ideas and engage in interdisciplinary conversations to advance health and well-being of patients, communities, and populations

Overall Learning Objective
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the role of lifestyle medicine in redefining healthcare
  2. Describe how the realm of lifestyle medicine promotes wellbeing
  3. Examine lifestyle medicine advances, challenges, and opportunities
