Overview
The Team-Based Learning (TBL) pedagogy is designed to engage learners through a process of preparation, assessment, and application of knowledge. This introductory series of workshops serve as a general introduction for faculty new to TBL by illustrating how it promotes students' learning.

Target Audience
Specialties - Allied Health Professionals, Dentists, Educators, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physicians, Students

Overall Learning Objective
  1. 1- Describe the essential elements of TBL.
  2. 2- Explain concisely how and why TBL works.
  3. 6- Apply class facilitation approaches in a TBL setting.
  4. 3- Evaluate the benefits, limitations, and barriers of implementing TBL.
  5. 4- Apply backward design methodology to plan a TBL module.
  6. 5- Design readiness materials and application exercises that motivate self-directed learning.

Registration

Early Bird until August 15, 2023 - QAR 182/$50

Registration fees starting August 16, 2023 - QAR 250/ $69

 Changes or Cancellations

1- Name changes or substitutions are not permitted.
2- All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to [email protected].
3- For a full refund of the registration fee, the cancellation request must be received at least 7 days prior to the session. No refund will be offered for cancellation request thereafter.
4- We will attempt to process the refund within 30 days of receiving any cancellation request.
5- Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event of a cancellation, fee deposit will be returned, but we will not be responsible for any other expenses including restricted or non-refundable airfare or hotel deposits.
