Overview
Medical educators are often trained in medical fields but not in educational fields. According to the literature and need assessment focus groups, we have identified a need for medical education journal club activities to equip medical educators and medical education administrators in all health professions with the capacity to 1) critically review medical education literature, 2) apply evidence-based literature in educational practice, 3) keep up to date on current literature in medical education, 4) develop and publish medical education research, and 5) enhance collaboration and mentorship in medical education.
