Overview
Obesity is highly prevalent worldwide. There has been significant advances in our understanding of obesity and its management. This 2-day activity on obesity aims to provide an excellent overview of the basic science related to obesity along with the evaluation and management of patients with obesity.

Target Audience
Specialties - Allied Health Professionals, Dentists, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physicians, Students


Objectives
  1. 1- Demonstrate an understanding of the complexity of development and treatment of obesity
  2. 2- Recognize the health risks of obesity and the benefits associated with weight loss
  3. 3- Formulate a treatment plan for obesity that includes lifestyle modifications and advanced approaches e.g. pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgeries
  4. 4- Describe the role of social media in patients’ engagement and satisfaction.

Registration

Early bird registration fees until May 10, 2022 - $21 or QAR 75 
Registration fees starting  May 11, 2022 - $41 or QAR 150

Changes or Cancellations

Name changes or substitutions are not permitted.
All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to [email protected].
For a full refund of the registration fee, the cancellation request must be received at least 7 days prior to the session. No refund will be offered for cancellation request thereafter.
We will attempt to process the refund within 30 days of receiving any cancellation request.
Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event of a cancellation, fee deposit will be returned, but we will not be responsible for any other expenses including restricted or non-refundable airfare or hotel deposits.
