Overview

This workshop aims at introducing participants to the qualitative research (QR) design. It is meant to address several questions around the design and implementation qualitative research including: when to use QR, which methodology to use, how to conduct the research, how to present the results, and how to increase the trustworthiness of QR studies.

Objectives
  1. 1- Demonstrate an understanding of the merit of using qualitative research in clinical setting
  2. 2- Demonstrate an understanding scientific process in conducting a qualitative research
  3. 3- Demonstrate an understanding of how to integrate scientific rigor and ethics in qualitative research

Changes or Cancellations

  • Name changes or substitutions are not permitted.
  • All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to cpd@qatar-med.cornell.edu.
  • For a full refund of the registration fee, the cancellation request must be received at least 7 days prior to the session. No refund will be offered for cancellation request thereafter.
  • We will attempt to process the refund within 30 days of receiving any cancellation request.
  • Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event of a cancellation, fee deposit will be returned, but we will not be responsible for any other expenses including restricted or non-refundable airfare or hotel deposits.
