Date & Location
Saturday, March 20, 2021, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, WCM-Q, Doha, Qatar

Overview

This is the final level of a 3-workshop series aimed at enabling health care professionals (HCP) to organize and analyze their data and properly interpret and summarize it. The workshop will be applied in nature where biostatistical concepts will be explained through case studies using a statistical software such as IBM-SPSS.

NOTE: Participants are required to bring their own laptop to the workshop with SPSS software downloaded.

Certificate

An anonymous evaluation will be conducted online. All participants are required to complete the Evaluation Form in order to qualify for a certificate of attendance.

If you wish to receive a certificate of completion “Certificate in the Analysis of Medical Data”, you are required to complete the three workshops (Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced Applied Biostatistics for Health Care Professionals) and pass the test at the end of each activity.

Target Audience
Specialties - Allied Health Professionals, Dentists, Educators, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physicians, Researchers, Students

Objectives
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. 1- Generate a multiple linear regression.
  2. 2- Generate a multiple logistic regression.
  3. 3- Analyze data from a one-way ANOVA.
  4. 4- Analyze data using nonparametric statistics.
  5. 5- Fit a Kaplan Meier Curve and compute median survival.
  6. 6- Interpret Hazard Ratios and their confidence intervals.
