Overview
It is estimated that 80% of the world population has some form of periodontal disease, with 15% having severe/advanced disease. Dental professionals are in a unique and essential position to be able to screen, identify and manage patients with periodontal disease. This course will allow colleagues to confidently be able to identify, assess and manage such patients Crown lengthening as an important armamentarium for restorative treatment.

Specialties - Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, Dentists


Objectives
  1. 1-Discuss how to screen and assess patients with periodontal disease
  2. 2-Discuss and highlight relevance and prevalence of diabetic patients related to periodontal disease
  3. 3-Describe strategies to co-ordinate and execute successful treatment plan
  4. 4-Implement the new world wide Periodontal and Implant Classification

Registration

25-Oct-2019 - Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists - $25

25-Oct-2019 - Dentists - $50

26-Oct-2019 - Morning Session (Dentists ONLY) - $25

26-Oct-2019 - Workshop (Limited to 15 seats, Dentists ONLY, morning session is mandatory to attend the workshop) - $100

Changes or Cancellations

  • Name changes or substitutions are not permitted.
  • All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to cpd@qatar-med.cornell.edu.
  • For a full refund of the registration fee, the cancellation request must be received at least 7 days prior to the session. No refund will be offered for cancellation request thereafter.
  • We will attempt to process the refund within 30 days of receiving any cancellation request.
  • Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event of a cancellation, fee deposit will be returned, but we will not be responsible for any other expenses including restricted or non-refundable airfare or hotel deposits.

Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar is accredited as a provider of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) of the Ministry of Public Health.
