There is no registration for the Live Webinars - Part 2 (Nov 7, 2021 - Dec 16, 2021). Those who have registered for Training in Music-Based Therapeutic Interventions: from Fundamentals to Multidisciplinary Implementation - Part 1 will receive the Zoom links to join the sessions from CPD.

Overall Learning Objective
  1. 1- Identify and distinguish between Music Medicine, Music Therapy and other music-based interventions.
  2. 2- List clinical applications of music-based interventions and devise the appropriate approach for their implementation.
  3. 3- Recognize the potential benefits of introducing a music-based intervention in a clinical case.
  4. 4- Explain principles behind the techniques used by music therapists to treat speech deficits, motor deficit and cognitive and behavioral disorders.
  5. 5- Identify the main actors of the multidisciplinary team needed for implementation of music-based interventions.
  6. 6- Discuss the challenges and solutions for implementing music-based interventions in the Middle East.
  7. 7- Examine cultural specificities to take into consideration to implement music-based intervention in the Middle East.

Registration

Registration fees July 19, 2021 - $193 or QAR 700

Changes or Cancellations

1- Name changes or substitutions are not permitted.
2- All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to [email protected].
3- For a full refund of the registration fee, the cancellation request must be received at least 7 days prior to the session. No refund will be offered for cancellation request thereafter.
4- We will attempt to process the refund within 30 days of receiving any cancellation request.
5- Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event of a cancellation, fee deposit will be returned, but we will not be responsible for any other expenses including restricted or non-refundable airfare or hotel deposits.
