Overview

This is the first in a series of three workshops aimed at enabling HCPs to organize and analyze their data and properly interpret and summarize it. Biostatistical concepts will be explained through case studies using a statistical software such as IBM-SPSS

NOTE: Participants are required to have a laptop with SPSS software downloaded. 

Certificates

An anonymous evaluation will be conducted online. All participants are required to complete the Evaluation Form in order to qualify for a certificate of attendance.

If you wish to receive a certificate of completion 'Certificate in the Analysis of Medical Data' you are required to complete the three workshops (Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced Applied Biostatistics for Health Care Professionals) and pass the test at the end of each activity.

  1. Use IBM-SPSS to enter, code and manage data.
  2. Summarize variables both numerically and graphically.
  3. Use IBM-SPSS to apply basic analysis of numeric and categorical outcomes.
