Overview
As technology rapidly advances, the integration of AI in healthcare is becoming increasingly important and Qatar is recognizing the significance of leveraging AI to enhance patient care, optimize clinical workflows, and improve healthcare outcomes.  This Artificial Intelligence (AI) course is designed to address the knowledge gap among healthcare professionals in Qatar and meet the needs of the community. This one day interactive in person introductory course is scheduled at WCM-Q and open for up to 60 participants.  The target audience are physicians, nurses, dentists and pharmacists. It will cover fundamental AI aspects, ethical issues and challenges and include group discussions in a journal club format

Overall Learning Objective
  1. 1- Recognize the history of AI and basic definition of AI
  2. 2- Outline Fundamental concepts AI, ML and DL
  3. 3- Evaluate the performance of AI algorithms and show an awareness of applications of AI and machine learning in the healthcare field
  4. 4- Analyze potential challenges and ethical issues associated with building an AI system.
  5. 5 - Analyze guided information related to group paper and discuss in a mini journal club style

Registration

Early bird rate until January 25, 2024 - QAR 100/ USD 28

Regular fees starting January 26, 2024 - QAR 150/USD 41

Changes or Cancellations

1- Name changes or substitutions are not permitted.
2- All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to [email protected].
3- For a full refund of the registration fee, the cancellation requests must be received at least 7 days prior to the session. No refund will be offered for cancellation request thereafter.
4- We will attempt to process the refund within 30 days of receiving any cancellation request.
5- Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event of a cancellation, the fee deposit will be returned, but we will not be responsible for any other expenses, including restricted or non-refundable airfare or hotel deposits.
