During this session, the presenter will discuss key aspects of the data publishing and sharing process. These include policies and standards, requirements of major publishers and biomedical journals, benefits to the authors and the research community, data formats and standards, the FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) principle, data availability statements, data repositories, how to cite data, and more.
