This activity is subsumed under the larger umbrella of an ongoing symposium on "Women and Medicine" which will be comprised of 4 modules (Clinical, Educational, Research and Academic life). The activity will focus on 3 major areas of importance in the area of Cardiovascular Disease among Women including the women specific cardiovascular risk factors, cardiovascular disease during pregnancy, and sex differences in the diagnosis and management of major cardiovascular conditions

1. 1- Review the women-specific cardiovascular disease risk factors
2. 2- Discuss evidence-based diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease among women
3. 3- Outline the diagnosis and management of major cardiovascular conditions during pregnancy

In recognition of the challenges of the Covid pandemic, the division of CPD of WCM-Q would like to support the Continuing Professional Development of our Health Care Practitioner community by waiving the fees for this event.
