Overview
This seminar seeks to bring together practitioners and regulators to speak about the challenges and opportunities from their vantage points to find common grounds. This activity will help practitioners understand what is expected of them in terms of care and the implementing regulations for their licensure as a practitioner within the healthcare system.

Overall Learning Objective
At the end of the activity, participants will be able to: 

  1. 1- Discuss evidence for Complementary and Alternative Medicine integration in conventional health care delivery
  2. 2- Explain the role of law and regulation in implementing Complementary and Alternative Medicine policy objectives
  3. 3- Explore the common Complementary and Alternative Medicine systems and therapies
  4. 4- Explore and explain possible opportunities and challenges Complementary and Alternative Medicine presents to (CAM) and to conventional health care practitioners in Qatar
